I’m currently working as a Supervising Producer for NBC News in New York.

It’s nice to meet you! My name’s Dan Corey and I’m an Emmy-winning news producer for who’s worked in streaming, digital, cable and broadcast TV for the last decade. Now supporting the NBC News Specials Unit and NBC Nightly News Weekend Edition, my specialties include project management, story development and senior producing, rapid response to breaking news in the control room, field producing — and above all else — writing for any story in any voice.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Media Studies from Rutgers University, where I got my start securing and conducting a one-on-one interview with then-President Obama.

Outside of work, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Queer Big Apple Corps marching and symphonic bands, where I play drums and trumpet, respectively. I’m also an amateur photographer and attempting to become an amateur DJ.
